At Instore Agency we always strive to minimize our environmental impact and our goal is to help you as a customer do the same. One of the most important ways we do this is by manufacturing quality products that can be used time and time again.
RECYCLING AND REUSE
A full 87% of the material in our plastic hangers is recycled and we have our own recycling centers in Lidköping and in the factory located in Gorzow. We have our own recycling program where we, together with our customers, have saved over 2,500 tons of polystyrene over the past five years. During the same period, we have also repaired over 500,000 hangers in Lidköping.
Recycling not only benefits the environment, but also you as a customer who receives compensation for the material you recycle through us. Further down the page you can see how our cycle works.
PRIZED ENVIRONMENTAL WORK
In 2016, we were one of three companies in Sweden to be nominated for the Re-User of the Year award at the Recycling Awards. This is clear proof that our environmental and recycling work is important and that it really works.
UNDVIK SLIT OCH SLÄNG MED PP-PÅSAR
We offer bags made from both recycled polystyrene and 100% biodegradable plastic. But the best thing we can do for the environment is to reduce the number of plastic bags we use. Many people then turn to cotton bags, but processing 1 kilo of cotton requires about 1 kilo of chemicals and between 10,000 and 17,000 liters of water.
Instead of cotton, we recommend our reusable bags made of polypropylene (PP-nonwoven, PP-woven). The bags are manufactured in an energy-efficient way and thanks to their high quality, they can be used again and again. If you want to go a step further, choose one of our reusable bags made of R-PET. R-PET is recycled polypropylene, which makes the bag even more environmentally sustainable. SMART LOGISTICS THAT SAVINGS THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE ECONOMY
Thanks to our wide range, you can reduce the number of suppliers and through our smart logistics solutions, you minimize the number of transports. This reduces emissions and also facilitates your administration, which allows you to cut costs. We have subcontractors around the world, which means that we have manufacturing and warehouses where you have manufacturing and can provide our products close to your factories.
ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATIONS AND REGULATIONS
We use 100% green electricity from hydroelectric power for our head office and warehouse in Lidköping. Our factory in Poland is powered by solar power combined with modern, energy-efficient technology.
We are ISO certified! An ISO 9001 quality management system guarantees efficient and structured operations and continuous improvement of routines and processes. Which means extra security for all our customers and partners. The certificate is issued by an external certification company that regularly reviews that we meet the requirements included in the standard.
We are affiliated with the Swedish Producer Responsibility (NPA) and are therefore responsible for our producer responsibility for recycling packaging. The current fee is added to plastic and paper products, such as bags and packaging. The fees are charged as separate items with each purchase.
Our suppliers of paper bags and gift boxes are FSC® C130119 certified, which means that the material comes from forestry that takes both the environment and people into account.
We also comply with REACH, which is a European Union regulation adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that may arise from chemicals.

As a customer, you place the used hangers in special recycling containers which are then sent directly to our warehouse and recycling center in Lidköping.
2.
We receive the hangers and sort those that are whole, from those that need to be repaired and those that need to be melted down for new production.

Hangers that are too broken to repair go through a process where the metal is separated from the plastic.

The plastic is melted down while the metal is sent for recycling.

The recycled plastic is turned into new hangers that are sent out to you as a customer. The circle is closed.
